TEG-Blue: the framework and the tools

I created TEG-Blue, The Emotional Gradient Blueprint, to explore emotions, behaviour and relationships. The work has two connected sites: teg-blue.org explains the framework and its sources; teg-blue.com offers interactive tools for reflection and education.

The framework on teg-blue.org

The framework is where I develop my account of how emotions, nervous-system responses and relationships shape behaviour. It brings together research, writing and visual models to examine emotional and relational patterns.

On teg-blue.org, you can explore the framework’s ideas, the connections between them and the sources that inform the work.

Explore the reasoning behind TEG-Blue

Start here when you want to understand the models and their research grounding. The framework informs the tools; each tool’s clarity, usefulness and validity still need to be investigated in their own right.

Tools for emotional clarity on teg-blue.com

The tool site gives you a way to explore a specific question through guided reflections, behaviour comparisons and pattern maps. These three tools look at people pleasing, apologies, care and control.

Behaviour comparison

What Happens After They Apologise?

Compare what someone does after saying sorry: how they name their actions, listen to the impact, respond when you need time, and change their behaviour afterwards.

These tools are free to open without an account. They are intended for reflection and education. Each tool needs its own evidence before claims can be made about its validity or effectiveness.

What can I explore?

The tools offer descriptions and questions about emotional experiences and relationships. Open one to review its wording, interaction and limits, and consider whether it relates to the people you work with.

What is their evidence status?

The featured tools are resources for reflection and education, not validated clinical assessments. I am seeking collaborators to investigate selected tools. The framework’s sources and the evidence for a particular tool are separate questions.

Can I share or adapt a tool?

You can share direct links so clients, students or colleagues can explore the original pages. Contact me about using material in paid work, reproducing it, adapting it or embedding it. The current content-use guidance explains these permissions.

What about access and privacy?

The three featured tools are free to open in a web browser without an account. Before using account or saving features, read TEG-Blue’s privacy policy for information about data handling.

A collaboration: El Gradiente

I am developing El Gradiente with Dr Martha Alicia Tronco Rosas, bringing together her experience with Violentómetro 1 and 2.0 and my work on TEG-Blue and digital tools.
