You need a website for your work or want to try an app idea through a prototype: a simple version you can use and review. I organise the pages and the steps people take through them, write the content, design how it looks and build the agreed features.

I help bring that work together so visitors can understand what you do, explore the connections and find the details they need. The site might be one focused page or a larger website with space for your biography, research, publications and teaching. We review the content together so it represents your work accurately and feels like you.

We can start with what you have

You bring your knowledge of the subject and any material you already have: notes, research, draft text or an existing website. We talk about what you want to make or improve, who it is for and where you’d like my help.

  1. Agree the work. Before work begins, we agree what I’ll deliver, the price and the timing. We also discuss rights to the work, any data involved and, where relevant, hosting and maintenance.
  2. Develop something we can review. Depending on the project, I organise the material and prepare text, designs or a simple working version of the website or tool. We review it together and try the steps people will take.
  3. Complete and check. I finish the agreed work and we review the result. For websites and tools, that includes checking how they work on phones and computers.

Help study a selected TEG-Blue tool

I am looking for therapists and researchers interested in studying how people understand and use selected tools, and what evidence would be needed to assess their validity for a particular purpose.

A question we could start with

Am I Kind—or Am I People-Pleasing? asks readers to consider one relationship through six prompts. Do they understand the descriptions as intended, and can they explain how the wording relates to the relationship they have chosen to consider?

That could be a starting point for investigating comprehension. Questions about validity or effectiveness would need their own study design and evidence.

What we could each contribute

I can explain the tool’s structure, wording and design choices, and develop revisions. You might bring experience with a relevant group, research methods or the topic itself.

We would agree the question, methods, responsibilities and any participant involvement together. This is an invitation to develop a study.
